Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By making an enquiry or booking with Winterfell Cottages (“we”, “us”), you agree to these Terms of Service. A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of the advance payment and written confirmation from us via WhatsApp or email.

2. Bookings & Payment

• Bookings are confirmed upon advance payment as communicated at the time of enquiry.
• Prices quoted are per night and subject to change for future bookings.
• The quoted price includes accommodation only (EP plan) unless otherwise agreed.
• Add-ons (meals, bonfire, guided treks, transfers) are priced separately and confirmed before your stay.
• GST invoice is available on request — please mention this when booking.

3. Check-In & Check-Out

• Check-in: 12:00 noon
• Check-out: 11:00 AM
• Early check-in or late check-out may be accommodated subject to availability — confirm with us in advance.
• Guests are expected to vacate the property by the check-out time. Late departures without prior approval may be charged.

4. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Our cancellation policy is communicated at the time of booking and depends on the notice period. General guidelines:

• Cancellations with adequate notice may be eligible for a full or partial refund of the advance.
• Last-minute cancellations (less than 48 hours before check-in) are generally non-refundable.
• No-shows are non-refundable.
• We try to be reasonable — if circumstances change, please reach out and we will work something out.

5. Guest Conduct

• Winterfell is a quiet, private retreat. Loud music or disruptive behaviour late at night is not permitted.
• Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the property or its contents during their stay.
• Smoking is not permitted inside any cottage. Designated outdoor areas may be used.
• Pets are allowed in select properties — confirm at the time of booking.
• We reserve the right to ask guests to vacate the premises if conduct is deemed inappropriate, without refund.

6. Liability

Winterfell Cottages is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage to guests or their belongings arising from their stay or participation in activities (trekking, fishing, etc.). Guests participate in outdoor activities at their own risk. We strongly advise travel insurance for all visits.

7. Force Majeure

We are not liable for cancellations or disruptions caused by events beyond our control, including natural disasters, government orders, road blockages, extreme weather, or acts of God. In such cases, we will work with guests to reschedule where possible.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Kullu, Himachal Pradesh.
