Jibhi Itinerary
2 nights, 3 nights, and 5 nights — day by day
Before You Plan
3 nights is the minimum
2 nights works for a weekend. But if you've come from Delhi or further, 2 nights isn't enough time to land and recover. 3 nights is where Jibhi starts making sense.
Jalori Pass takes a full day
The drive is 45–60 minutes each way. The treks are 3–5 km one way. Don't plan Jalori Pass as a half-day — you won't have time for the trek, the views, and the drive back.
Best time: Oct or Apr–May
October: clearest skies, all trails open, low crowds. April–May: wildflowers, green valley, warm days. Avoid July–August if trekking is the plan — monsoon makes trails slippery.
Option 1
2 Nights — The Weekend Trip
3 days · Arrive + village day + Jalori Pass + Tirthan Valley on checkout day
A 2-night trip gives you 2 full days. One for the village, one for Jalori Pass. You won't do everything — you don't need to. Set that expectation before you arrive and the weekend will feel full, not rushed.

Arrive, Waterfall & Cafe Hopping
Arrive at your stay, check in
Last petrol pump is at Aut — fill up before Banjar. Roads from Banjar to Jibhi are narrow mountain roads. Drive slow, no overtaking.
Jibhi Waterfall
Right fork at the main chowk toward Gadagushain, 300–400m, then a U-turn — you'll see the signboard. ₹20 entry. Short forest trail to the cascade. Go early afternoon while it's still bright.
Waterfall guide →Kulhi Katandi — Mini Thailand
Left fork at the main chowk toward Jalori Pass, 1 km, then a short walk down. Clear stream pool with smooth boulders — free, no facilities. This and the waterfall together take 2–3 hours.
Mini Thailand guide →Cafe hopping in Jibhi market
4–5 cafes in the chowk area. Try more than one — chai somewhere, dinner somewhere else. The market is small but that's not a problem.
Day 2
Jalori Pass — Raghupur Fort
Leave for Jalori Pass
20 km from Jibhi, 45–60 minutes. The road climbs sharply — paved and manageable in any car. Chai at the tea stalls at the pass before starting the trek.
Raghupur Fort trek — 3 km one way
Right side trailhead at the pass. Forest for the first kilometre, then meadow, then open ridgeline. Summit at ~3,400m — near-360° panoramic views of Himalayan ranges. 1.5–2 hrs up, 1–1.5 hrs down. Carry water and a jacket.
Full trek guide →Firgun Cafe, Sojha — on the way back
Sojha village is on the road back from Jalori Pass, 5 km before Jibhi. Firgun Cafe is the most recommended stop — good food, views, a natural break after the trek. If you prefer, the Jibhi market cafes work too.
Sojha guide →Back at your property
Pack tonight if checking out tomorrow.

Drive toward Tirthan Valley — Chhoie Waterfall
Route back to Aut passes through Banjar — from there take the left road along the Tirthan River toward Shairopa and Gushaini. Chhoie Waterfall is a short forest trek from the Tirthan road — the walk through the river and forest is the main attraction.
Chhoie Waterfall guide →GHNP entry point — Shairopa
The Great Himalayan National Park entry is at Shairopa, 5–6 km from Banjar. You won't trek into the park on a half-day, but the river here is exceptionally clear. Worth a stop for the views and the water.
Reach Aut
Most return buses booked from Delhi, Chandigarh, and Manali arrive at Aut after 6 PM — so reaching Aut before 6 gives you time to board comfortably. If you came by bus, hire a local cab for the day — the driver will drop you at Aut after the Tirthan stop (small extra fare for the detour).
Option 2
3 Nights — The Sweet Spot
4 days · Village + both Jalori Pass treks · Most recommended
3 nights is what most people wish they had booked when they leave on a 2-night trip. It gives you both Jalori Pass treks — Raghupur Fort and Serolsar Lake on separate days — plus a full village day. No rushing.
