Where to Go After Jibhi

Shangarh · Kasol · Manali · Sangla Valley · Spiti

Jibhi sits near Aut — the junction where the Parvati Valley road and the Kullu–Manali highway meet. Before heading that far, Shangarh in the Sainj Valley is just 35 km away — a striking meadow at 2,600m that most people miss entirely. After that, the circuit continues to Kasol, Manali, Kinnaur, or Spiti. Here is how each next destination looks from Jibhi: distances, routes, what to expect, and whether the timing works.

Planning tip

How to Build a Himachal Circuit Around Jibhi

Jibhi works well as the first stop — arrive from Delhi or Chandigarh overnight, spend 3–4 nights, then continue. The most common circuit is Jibhi → Kasol → Manali. If you have more time, swap Kasol for Kinnaur (longer but very different terrain). Spiti requires a dedicated trip of at least 5 nights from Manali.

Short (7–10 days)

Delhi → Jibhi (3–4N) → Kasol (2N) → Delhi

Medium (12–14 days)

Delhi → Jibhi (3N) → Kasol (2N) → Manali (3N) → Delhi

Long (18–21 days)

Delhi → Jibhi (3N) → Manali (2N) → Spiti (5N) → Kinnaur (3N) → Shimla → Delhi
